I’ve added 10 photos of Meaghan with her Being Human castmates, Sam Huntington and Sam Witwer at the 2012 Wizard World Toronto Comic Con which was held over this past weekend.
Bloody Disgusting had this to say about their panel:
Being Human Panel
Being Human is one of those shows that, though it is not well know by the masses, breeds a huge, dedicated fan base who love it more than anything in the world. The three stars of the show, Sam Huntington, Sam Witwer, and Meaghan Rath were all present to discuss their double lives in the show. The revealed a load of shenanigans that happened behind the scenes and were more than happy to answer any questions from their fans. The lineup for their panel was one of the biggest of the show, with people waiting for about an hour to get in on the action.

The big “Being Human” season finale “It’s My Party and I’ll Die if I Want To” airs April 9 on Syfy and someone isn’t going to make it to Season 3. We caught up with star Meaghan Rath who plays the ghost Sally to chat about what’s coming, if Sally is really crazy and her big moment with Josh (Sam Huntington).
Sally and Josh actually get to share a hug. Rath talks about where that came from. “That moment originally wasn’t in the script, and when we got the draft for the new episode, Sam and I read them, and you know our writers are open to any feedback that we have, so when we read it my first instinct was like they need to hug, and Sam had the same idea about it. So we both individually wrote to the writers, I think without even talking about it, and requested that that was put in.”
Sally is hallucinating Reapers, shredding other ghosts and generally acting crazy. So is she? Rath gives us her take. “I think it’s really sad what’s happened to her. I think we always try to use terms that people can relate to, like afflictions that people have in real life, so in this case I think Sally became schizophrenic just out of a need to feel important, and feel like she had a purpose, and the fact that she always was left behind.”
Sally has some big moments coming and it’s really hard to say how the writers are going to start off Season 3. Check out the shocking finale on Syfy.
On SyFy’s Being Human, Meaghan Rath plays a ghost who inhabits the home of the other two main characters’ – making the opportunity to sit down for a good meal quite difficult. In real life, Meaghan keeps her very alive, very fit body in shape by sticking to a dairy-free, gluten-free diet – which, for some, can make time in the kitchen as scary as the haunting of a house!
To help conquer her fear of cooking while celebrating the renewal of her hit SyFy series, Meaghan recently joined the chefs of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts – Hollywood to learn how to create a three-course meal that is delicious, easy to prepare, and, most importantly, meets her gluten dairy-free, gluten-free dietary needs.
So just what is it that Meaghan learned how to prepare? Check out the menu created by Le Cordon Bleu specifically for Meaghan’s one-on-one culinary workshop – her parents joined in on the fun, as well – below.
· Savory Winter Pumpkin Soup – with Butternut, Acorn and Kabocha squash
· Filet Tenderloin au Poivre
· Classic Sabayon

While the beautiful Meaghan Rath plays a style-starved ghost on Syfy’s hit show Being Human, the 25-year-old actress is anything but. On the show (a North American reboot of the BBC’s immensely popular Being Human) Rath plays Sally, a ghost haunting the other two main characters’ house. But in real life, Rath’s more likely to haunt a sample sale in New York than a walk-up in Boston.
“I essentially wear the exact same outfit everyday on set,” said Rath. “Sally wears the clothes she died in: a grey tank, under an open grey button-down cardigan, under a grey knit sweater, with grey leggings, complete with, you guessed it—grey ballet flats.” But all that monotony isn’t necessarily a bad thing; it forces Rath, who draws inspiration from fashion blogs like FrouFrouu (“Nadia Sarwar’s style is impeccable. Her photography is so beautiful and creative. She’s a stunner.”) to experiment with daring fashion in her own life.
Even when Rath’s just wearing a plaid shirt, jeans and a wrinkled fedora, she manages to give it a modern edge.
